The 'Response-Recovery-Resilience for Conflict Affected Communities in Ethiopia Project' is a critical initiative by the Government of Ethiopia, aimed at providing essential services and support to GBV survivors in the Tigray Region. Funded by the World Bank, the project is implemented by the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, with support from UNOPS and UNFPA as the global technical lead for GBV programming and coordination. The project focuses on increasing access to lifesaving GBV services through One-Stop Centers, Safe Houses, and Women and Girls' Friendly Spaces, while addressing key drivers of GBV exacerbated by conflict and climate shocks. It also supports coordination, policy development, and research to enhance GBV prevention and response efforts. Watch this video to learn more about how this project is making a tangible difference for women and girls in conflict-affected areas. Together, we are building resilience and hope.
