The technical specialist will provide technical support to the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs on programmes integrating humanitarian response. The Technical specialist will be mainly focusing on providing support to programmes on GBV, Harmful Practices (HPs) and Youth. The Technical specialist will be providing support on nexus programming making linkages between humanitarian and development settings that include the integration of development interventions into humanitarian response. Furthermore, you will serve as an in-house expert in GBV, HPs and Youth programming and support the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs in the planning, monitoring and implementation of UNFPA programmes. The Technical Specialist will be reporting to the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs and to the Gender and Human Rights Specialist of UNFPA Ethiopia Country Office.
