UNFPA is implementing this preparedness and response plan to address the humanitarian needs of the women and girls especially affected by the crisis in Tigray and neighboring regions, facing new vulnerabilities to gender-based violence and cut off from accessing life-saving health and protection services. With this plan, UNFPA is supporting the availability and access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and gender-based violence (GBV) information and services.
