UNFPA, the United Nations Agency for Sexual and Reproductive Health, began its development assistance in Ethiopia in 1973. Currently, we are implementing the 9th Country Programme (2020-2025) in selected districts of 9 Regions (Afar, Amhara, Benishangul-Gumuz, Gambella, Oromia, Sidama, Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples, Somali, and Tigray, and Addis Ababa City Administration) with a total budget of USD 112 million. This fact sheet summarizes the main achievements per area from 2020 to 2022.
