Discover the impactful partnership between the Government of Japan and UNFPA in delivering lifesaving reproductive health services. Through this collaboration, UNFPA has provided essential sexual and reproductive health services, as well as gender-based violence prevention and response, to 82,264 women and girls in hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to the generous contribution of the People of Japan, this project has made a significant difference over the past year, starting from February 2023. We have worked tirelessly to support these communities and make a lasting impact. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our government partners, the Ethiopian Midwives Association, and the People of Japan for their steadfast partnership with UNFPA Ethiopia. Together, we are committed to saving lives and ensuring the dignity of women and girls.
