This UNFPA Ethiopia Preparedness and Humanitarian Response Plan is a comprehensive strategy designed to address the urgent Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) needs arising from the country's multiple crises, including the significant influx of refugees and returnees in 2024. Informed by the 2024 Humanitarian Needs Overview, the Ethiopia Humanitarian Response Plan, and various Regional Refugee Response Plans, this nationwide initiative is closely aligned with the UNFPA Strategic Plan (2022-2025) and its humanitarian commitments.
