As part of the global 16 Days of Activism campaign, this high-level event brings together government officials, humanitarian actors, civil society leaders, and international partners to address gender-based violence (GBV) in crisis contexts in Ethiopia.

Hosted by UNFPA, in partnership with the Governments of Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, and European Union, UN Women, and the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, the panel will explore both the challenges and the urgent need to invest in prevention and response—especially in conflict-affected regions.

With powerful testimonies from local women’s associations and frontline service providers, the discussions will highlight practical proposals for action and showcase the collective commitment to end GBV in all its forms.
