Members of Parliaments of the Swedish and Norwegian governments visited and held discussion with the staff of UNFPA Country Office on 25 February and 4 March respectively on programme interventions being undertaken with their funding.
Presentations were made on different interventions made on Maternal and Newborn Health as well as sexual and reproductive health. Briefing was also provided on interventions UNFPA is supporting with funding from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and the Norwegian International Development Agency (NORAD). The members the missions forwarded a number of queries which were addressed by UNFPA staff.
