Despite the announcement of an official end to military operations at the end of November 2020, there has been continued conflict across the region and insecurity particularly in Tigray, Afar and Amhara regions, and poor access to those most in need1. This has had a significant impact on the safety and security of civilians, with women and girls being particularly vulnerable to sexual violence, exploitation, unwanted pregnancy, and increased maternal mortality.
